Was anyone else touched by the Sisterwife solidarity in that episode when Meri and Robyn went to fetch Christine from the Loo?....Oh I have found myself hiding out in the loos a few times in my life but never for such a serious reason, I could understand how hard it must have been to face her Aunt, especially as she appeared to be coming from an intimidating position (laughing with Kollene behind the door). Seeing Christine cushioned between Meri and Robyn, safe between them exemplified more than anything else in a long time, the benefits of Poly living.
Another thing that reminded me was a rather sad little whine/vent/cry facebook post by another new mother on my breastfeeding support forum, her older child was sick and she was bemoaning the clingy-ness of the new baby, her husband works until late and she was home having to choose to sooth the sick toddler and leave the baby to scream or pick up baby but not be able to hold and cuddle the toddler. What an awful conundrum? Poor woman sounds like she is at her wits end. Women just were not made to live that way, it seems really cruel.
